The Livesey Quarter Commonplace Feedback Forms Have Closed

The consultation on this stage of the Livesey Quarter proposals has now closed. Thank you to those who provided feedback to the three core aspects on this consultation: the ‘Livesey Memorial Hall’, the ‘emerging designs’ and ‘social and sustainable spaces’.

We’d like to thank everybody that has provided their valuable insight so far. The feedback received has been analysed and reported to the project team and has informed the plans and shaped the next stage of designs. The finalised designs will be presented at a public exhibition in Spring alongside detail as to how the scheme has been shaped by engagement. More information about these events will be provided soon.

Consultation Closing 28th February 2023

We’d like to thank everyone that has provided feedback so far on the Commonplace site. Your insight and views have been incredibly valuable.

The opportunity to provide feedback through the project website will be closing on 28th February 2023. The feedback received has been analysed and reported back to the project to help shape the developing designs and plans.

The Livesey Design Group Meets at the Livesey Memorial Hall

On the 4th and 5th of January, last week, the Livesey Design Group convened at the Livesey Memorial Hall for two co-design workshops.

At the first of our workshops, the Hall itself was discussed as participants worked collaboratively to co-create a future vision for the hall considering both the hall’s heritage and wider local need. If you are yet to provide your own feedback on the future of the Livesey Memorial Hall, you can do so here.

The second of the co-design workshops focused on outdoor spaces, with Livesey Memorial Hall's adjacent bowling green a central topic of discussion. Participants also provided feedback on the wider landscaping of the Livesey Quarter proposals. To provide your own feedback on the Livesey Quarter’s social and sustainable spaces, visit this link.

Help Shape the Future of Livesey Memorial Hall

Applications are now open to join the Livesey Design Group (LDG).

The LDG are a demographically representative group of local residents who will help design the future of the Livesey Hall and Bowling Green as part of the Livesey Quarter development.

The LDG will take part in two co-design workshops with awardwinning architects Weston Williamson + Partners and landscape designers Churchman Thornhill Finch. At these workshops, the LDG will co-create a vision for the future community-use and design of the hall and public green spaces.

The workshops will take place in the Livesey Memorial Hall on:

Wednesday 4th January 2023, 6pm-8pm

Thursday 5th January 2023, 6pm-8pm

Participants will be paid for their time and insight. Payment will be £25 for attending one workshop and £50 for attending both.

Refreshments will be provided at both workshops.
